What is it?
Steel is a brand new crafting system designed to be as immersive as it is useful. It's not just a material, it's a process: one that feels like you're actually forging something valuable with your own hands.
How to make it
- Smelt coal using lava to obtain coal coke.
- Make sure to drink fire resistance potions.
- Mix 4 iron ingots with 4 pieces of coal coke and wait for them to heat up.
- Hammer down the raw hot steel.
- Then cool it in water.
What is steel used for?
Steel opens the door to some of the most powerful and exciting utility items on the server, including:
- Siege weapons and their ammunition, like cannonballs
- More utility items we'll be revealing down the line
Bigger batches, less grind
One of the best parts of the system is that steel can be crafted in stacks rather than individual pieces. So whether you're a solo player or running a large faction, the process scales with you.
